Welcome to RiccoRide. By using our cab booking services (via phone, WhatsApp, or website), you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before making a booking.
1. Service Overview
RiccoRide provides cab booking services including airport transfers, local city rides, outstation cabs, and corporate transportation across India. Bookings are made via phone call or WhatsApp messaging.
2. Booking and Confirmation
- A booking is confirmed only after you receive a confirmation message from our team with driver and vehicle details.
- We recommend booking at least 2 hours in advance for local rides and 24 hours for outstation trips.
- Booking confirmation is subject to vehicle availability in your city and for your preferred time.
3. Fares and Payment
- All fares quoted are estimates based on the shortest recommended route and are subject to actual distance travelled.
- Toll charges, parking fees, and state entry taxes are extra unless explicitly included in the quoted fare.
- Payment is due at the end of the trip or as per the agreed payment terms for corporate accounts.
- We accept cash, UPI, and bank transfers. Payment modes may vary by city and driver.
- RiccoRide does not apply surge pricing. However, fares may vary by city, vehicle type, and trip type.
4. Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations made more than 2 hours before the scheduled pickup are free of charge.
- Cancellations within 2 hours of pickup may attract a cancellation fee of up to 25% of the estimated fare.
- No-shows (failure to appear at the pickup point within the agreed waiting time) are treated as last-minute cancellations.
- For outstation trips, cancellation policies may vary. Specific terms will be communicated at the time of booking.
5. Passenger Responsibilities
- Provide accurate pickup and drop locations at the time of booking.
- Be ready at the designated pickup point at the agreed time.
- Treat the driver and vehicle with respect. Any damage to the vehicle caused by passengers may result in additional charges.
- Smoking, consumption of alcohol, and carrying illegal substances in the vehicle are strictly prohibited.
- Seatbelts must be worn at all times during the ride.
6. Driver and Vehicle Standards
- All drivers are verified, licensed, and trained professionals.
- Vehicles are regularly maintained, cleaned, and insured.
- GPS tracking is enabled on all vehicles for safety and trip monitoring.
- Drivers are not permitted to deviate from the route without passenger consent.
7. Waiting Time
- For airport pickups: Up to 45 minutes of free waiting time after flight landing.
- For local and outstation pickups: Up to 15 minutes of free waiting time from the scheduled pickup time.
- Additional waiting time may be charged at applicable per-minute or per-hour rates.
8. Limitation of Liability
- RiccoRide acts as a facilitator connecting passengers with cab service providers. While we maintain strict quality standards, our liability is limited to the fare amount for the specific trip in question.
- We are not liable for delays caused by traffic, weather, road conditions, or other factors beyond our control.
- We are not responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings left in the vehicle, though we will make reasonable efforts to recover them.
9. Complaints and Disputes
If you have a complaint about our service, please contact us within 48 hours of the trip completion. We take all complaints seriously and aim to resolve them within 5 business days. Unresolved disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in India.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Updated terms will be posted on this page. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
